The Delray Beach Summer Calendar Locals Are Actually Using In 2026

July 9, 2026

Season ends and the story most people tell themselves is that Delray goes quiet. It does not. Between June 1 and August 31, the Downtown Development Authority runs a full signature campaign built specifically for residents, and the new-restaurant pipeline that will define Atlantic Avenue in the fall is opening its doors right now, while parking is still findable.

That is the thesis worth holding onto: summer in Delray is not the off-season. It is the resident season, and the operators moving into Sundy Village and the East End know it. If you live here, the next eight weeks are when the town is programmed around you.

What Is Actually On The Calendar

The DDA calls the summer campaign #LoveDelray Feel Good Summer, and it runs June 1 through August 31 as a produced series rather than a listing of one-offs. The individual dates worth putting in your phone right now:

  • Sun, Jul 5 — Coco Market Wellness Festival, 9 AM to 3 PM at the Delray Beach Amphitheatre at Old School Square
  • Wed, Jul 22 — Art & Jazz on the Avenue, 6 to 9:30 PM along the beachside of East Atlantic
  • Fri, Jul 24 — Free Sunset Concert, a tribute to Boston and Forever Foreigner, 5 to 9 PM at Old School Square with music at 6
  • Tue, Jul 28 — Free Full Moon Yoga & Ecstatic Night Under the Stars, 6:30 to 9:30 PM at Old School Square
  • Wed, Jul 29 — Delray in the Sky Drone Show, 6 PM at Old School Square, tied to the America 250 celebration
  • Fri, Aug 7 — First Friday Art Walk, 6 to 9 PM
  • Fri, Aug 28 — "Party in Paradise," Delray's tribute to Jimmy Buffett, 5 to 10 PM at Old School Square, timed to Florida's official Jimmy Buffett Day on August 30

Two things to notice about that list. First, most of it is free. Second, it is Wednesday through Friday heavy, which is a resident-schedule tell. Season events cluster on weekends because visitors drive in from Palm Beach and Broward. Summer programming leans into the middle of the week because the audience is already here.
